Ten activities for your trip in Egypt

If you are planning a trip to Egypt as director of operations in the United Kingdom for the One World Tours United Kingdom, here are my top ten list of places to go and things to see and do in Egypt …

1. The pyramids of Giza. This may seem obvious, but their visit is not the only option. You can go inside them, ride camels around them and perhaps the most spectacular of them, visit them and of the night and see the super sound and light show at the pyramids. In the dark of night, the Sphinx is on and tells the story of the Pyramids. In addition, a fantastic soundtrack and plays lasers dance around the pyramids. This show is a must.

2. Kings Tuts mask. The mask of the boy king, has been seen in person to be believed. The work is complex, but there's just an amazing "aura of peace around this artifact. Words simply can not describe Do you feel as you stand in front of her.

3. Abu Simbel. This is a true wonder past and present. The past is obvious but as a marvel today, everybody realizes that this entire structure was moved to make room for Lake Nasser. That alone is worth the trip from Aswan to view.

4. Valley of the Kings. Personally, I love the Luxor and the Valley of the Kings is a real site see. Despite its close links with the death, There is a sense really peaceful there. It should be noted however that all the tombs are worth seeing. You tickets leads you into 3 tombs and you can pay extra for others and for King Tuts tomb too. On 3, we suggest you visit are Ramses I, Tuthmosis III and Ramses VI.

5. Temple of Luxor. This temple is situated on the bank of the Nile and is an ideal place to stroll at leisure. Ironically for a breathtaking view of this place can also be seen from the second floor of the front of McDonalds – sorry, it's true!

6. A felucca sailing on the Nile. Best taken in Luxor (opposite the entrance to the temple of Luxor) is a simple but fantastic fun. We suggest starting early afternoon partly because the river provides a welcome rest day heat, but because the return journey will see the sun setting over the Nile, and it's something all not to be missed.

7. Karnak Temple. This complex of temples can be visited, either by day or night. If you can do both, do both, but if you can do once he does at night. Karnak Temple is a vast and beautiful place is on and you walk and the history of his story unfolds, you are truly transported to another time and place. The final act takes place overlooking a lake, where the temple is remarkably well informed and sound waters still before you.

8. Diving in the Red Sea. Diving in places like Hurghada, Dahab and Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the best in the world and if you are a beginner, what better way to learn that the Red Sea Riviera!

9. A dinner cruise of the Nile (Cairo). Probably a little cliche but if you can pass that, then a cruise on the River Nile in Cairo's worth making. The skyline is beautifully lit and that your cruise ship fate in the dark waters, you're sure to have a romantic evening you will never forget.

10 mounted on a camel. It just done! The best locations are the pyramids on the west bank of the Nile at Luxor. Here, it can be done very well in conjunction with a trip on the Nile by felucca (Case for a camel ride in the afternoon).
